On September 20, 2015, Soraya's art was showcased in Los Angeles at a private benefit for the School of the Arts of University of Haifa in Israel. Her sculptures Strong Roots, Grounded, and Generations were featured prominently, as were maquettes for her large public art pieces Legacy, Reflections, and Wings.
In July 2015, the Iranian American Women Foundation posted a video interview with Soraya about her approach to making art and her background.
Soraya was one of the artists invited to participate in Santa Monica Museum’s Incognito art benefit in May 2015. This was Soraya’s third year as an invited artist.
In February 2015, Soraya’s sculpture Identity (which was installed in 2010 at Saperstein Middle School) was accepted into the Public Art Archive, a large online database of public artworks in the United States.
